Refund Policy

All sales at Peakside Performance are final. Due to the custom, time-intensive nature of ECU/PCM calibration and performance build work, we do not offer refunds on tunes, custom files, revisions, dyno time, labor, parts, or tuning credits once purchased.

The One Exception: Un-Tuneable Vehicles

If we are unable to successfully tune your vehicle after a reasonable diagnostic and troubleshooting effort, you may be eligible for a refund of the tuning fee. "Un-tuneable" means the ECU/PCM cannot be read, written, or calibrated due to a hardware, platform, or compatibility limitation that we cannot resolve — not a mechanical issue with the vehicle, a customer-supplied incorrect file, or a request for a tune we don't offer.

In these cases:

  • The refund covers the tuning service fee only.
  • Diagnostic time, shipping, and any third-party costs (hardware, cables, licenses) are non-refundable.
  • Parts and hardware follow the manufacturer's return policy and must be returned unused, in original packaging, before any refund is issued.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are never eligible for refund under any circumstances:

  • Tuning credits (EFILive, EZ Lynk, MM3, HP Tuners, etc.)
  • Custom tune files that have been delivered, flashed, or modified per customer request
  • Revisions, retunes, and follow-up calibration work
  • Dyno time, shop labor, and diagnostic fees
  • Hardware and software licenses tied to a VIN or device
  • Drag race build deposits and milestone payments after work has begun
  • Sale items, promotional discounts, and gift cards

Defective Hardware or Wrong Item Shipped

If you receive a defective product or the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery at sales@peaksideperformance.ca with photos and your order number. We'll evaluate the issue and make it right — typically through replacement, repair, or exchange.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue is considered a breach of this policy and may result in suspension of services, locked tune files, and forfeiture of any tuning credits associated with your account.
